It probably is the most commercial one of its time, recorded by auctioneer W. O. Beckenbaugh, who is holding an imaginative auction of toys and other things on Christmas eve. In a social perspective this could be a pre-echo of the American Black Friday sales and the correlation between business and Christian holidays...

A more rarer operatic selection by Theodor Bertram, recorded in 1907 in Berlin, Germany on Edison Goldguss Record #15932. The announcement was done by Carl Nebe who did most of the German announcements of that era. His wrong pronunciation of Edison's name (EH-DEE-SON) is very distinctive. Due to severe wear the sound quality is somewhat limited but still good enough to be pleased by this interesting selection.
